Watch: Potential #1 Pick Ben Simmons(21Pts, 20Reb) Looks “Lebron Like” In Posterizing Marquette

ben simmons rt float 2There has been a ton of hype surrounding last year’s #1 ranked high school player Ben Simmons as he is playing his first season in the college ranks with the LSU Tigers.

Just last week he made some history, joining only Anthony Davis and Kevin Love, as the only #1 ranked HS players to notch a double-double in their NCAA debut.

Then followed another two stellar performances against Kennesaw State(22 pts, 9 reb, 6 ast) and South Alabama(23 pts, 16 reb), keeping the Tigers undefeated heading into a Mach-up against the underdog Marquette Golden Eagles Monday night in the semi’s of the CBE Classic at Madison Square Garden.

It would be the first chance for the nation to catch a glimpse of the prospect often compared to 4 Time NBA MVP Lebron James, in addition to playing on one of the game’s biggest stages at MSG.

Ben Simmons didn’t disappoint, putting up a monstrous stat-line of 21 points, 20 boards, 7 assists, and 2 steals as LSU came up just short 81-80, in the loss. Fellow elite freshman and potential 2015 1st Round pick Henry Ellenson of Marquette added 16 points and 9 rebounds.

Ben Simmons looks like a man among boys playing on the collegiate level as he now is averaging an impressive 19.3 points, 14.5 rebounds, and 5.3 assists on the season.

Check out his amazing end-to-end romp for the jam that looks eerily a lot like King James……………………
