Coach K is changing the rules.

From now on, all Duke practices will be closed. Instead NBA scouts will be allowed to observe practices during two pro days.

The first pro day will take place on October 19th and will include skills and drills. The second will be on October 25th and will feature an officiated scrimmage.

Schools like Kentucky run a “pro day” program but this will be the first time that Duke participates in something like this. Even though practices will now be off limits, NBA executives are still free to scout during games.

The Blue Devils have legitimate NBA prospects at every position such as Harry Giles, Jayson Tatum and Grayson Allen. Those three are projected as first-round picks in the 2017 NBA Draft with Giles and Tatum probably going in the top five.
