The NFL is considering three separate off-field incidents as it works toward a final decision on disciplining the former Kansas City Chiefs running back, Kareem Hunt.
Hunt was waived by the Chiefs after a video surfaced that showed him kicking a woman during a hotel fight in February. He was also involved in an altercation at an Ohio resort as well a nightclub fight. No charges were filed in any of the cases.
“I’m asking for forgiveness and I definitely believe I deserve forgiveness,” Hunt told ESPN. “Everything is really happening fast right now, and I just want everybody to forgive me.”
For now, Hunt remains on the commissioner’s exempt list and it’s unknown when the NFL will reach a decision on his punishment. He will more than likely be suspended for multiple games.
