New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. left Monday’s preseason game against the Cleveland Browns with an ankle injury.
According to NFL Network’s Kimberly Jones, even though Odell Beckham Jr. said he was ok after taking a big hit and spraining his ankle last night during a preseason game he will still have to undergo an MRI.
During the game against the Cleveland Brown’s Odell was seen kneeling in pain and did not return to the game but did stay on the sidelines for the second half. He underwent X-rays at the stadium and the results came back negative. He was also evaluated for a concussion but was cleared.
Unless the MRI reveals something unexpected, New York and Odell Beckham appear to have dodged a bullet ahead of a promising 2017 season.
