Ben Roethlisberger Calls Out Steelers

Ben Roethlisberger, the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, called out his team’s unacceptable performance after a loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. Only four days after telling his teammates “follow me,” he made it clear he expects the Steelers to fall in line.

“We are undisciplined and not accountable,” Roethlisberger said, via Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. “That’s why (the Cowboys) are one of the best in the business and we’re not right now.”

Asked about the source of the Steelers’ problems, Roethlisberger said reflection was necessary for the entire team.

“I don’t know,” Roethlisberger said. “Is it players? Is it coaches? I don’t know, but we need to get there quick.”

Roethlisberger threw for 408 yards and three touchdowns, but the Cowboys notched the winning score on Ezekiel Elliott’s 32-yard burst through the Steelers’ defense.
