Floyd Mayweather has opened up the possibility of returning to boxing for a history-making 50th bout, but who would he fight?
Mayweather attended Badou Jack’s fight against Lucian Bute. Following the fight he admitted that he was considering a bid to become the first fighter to hang up his gloves with a flawless half-century of fights to his name.
“If I came back, of course, it would have to be a nine-figure payday and probably a championship fight.”

ESPN reported that Mayweather’s company filed for trademarks for “TMT 50” and “TBE 50.” Both acronyms related to his boxing — TMT is “The Money Team,” and TBE stands for “the best ever.” 50 would be for Mayweather’s 50th career fight.
So now the question remains, should Mayweather return to boxing who would he fight for that epic “nine-figure championship fight”? The possibilities are endless. Adrien Broner (32-2-KO24) the WBA world super-lightweight champion, Amir Khan (31-3-KO19), Danny Garcia (32-0-KO18) the WBC world welterweight champion, Keith Thurman (26-0-KO22) the WBA world welterweight champion, Shawn Porter (26-1-1-KO16) or once again Manny Pacquiao (58-6-2-KO38)? Any of these fight would prove to be entertaining so now we just have to wait for the official announcement.
