According to Vegas Golden Knights’ head Coach, Gerard Gallant, Paul Stastny could be sidelined for the next two months.

Stastny was injured during Golden Knights game against the Buffalo Sabres on October 8th. In the final minutes of the game, Jack Eichel dove to block a shot when he crashed into Stastny’s leg.

Back in February, Stastny left the Blues and joined the Jets but was unable to re-sign with the team despite mutual interest due to Winnipeg’s tight salary cap. He then signed a three-year contract worth $19.5 million with Las Vegas in July.

The Golden Knights will be back in action Tuesday at home against the Buffalo Sabres.
