Duke’s Grayson Allen has been suspended indefinitely after he was caught tripping another player on the court for the third time in 2 years.
Grayson Allen tripped Steven Santa Ana from Elon Phoenix on Wednesday night. After the incident, Allen flipped out on the bench after being called for a technical foul and later had what seemed like an emotional breakdown crying during postgame interviews.

Many were calling for Coach K to suspend the guard and on Thursday Duke did the right thing and suspended him indefinitely.
Coach K has since issued a statement:
“We have had the opportunity to thoroughly review the incident involving Grayson Allen from last night’s game against Elon. As I stated last night, the incideent was unacceptable and inexcusable.”
“He took an important step last night by apologizing in person to Steven Santa Ana and Coach Matt Matheny.”
“As a program, we needed to take further steps regarding his actions that do not meet the standards of Duke Basketball. To that end, we have determined that Grayson will be suspended from competition for an indefinite amount of time.”
