When he was in his prime, many had Roy Jones Jr in the “greatest of all time” discussion for boxers. He made quick work of just about everyone. If he were in his prime now, he’d do Mayweather numbers.
But Jones is 47, way past his prime, and is still fighting. When he fights, many aren’t even aware, and he gets knocked out by guys nobody has ever heard of. For his future health, he should seriously consider hanging it up, but it doesn’t sound like that’s the case.
