Tom Brady may have gained another Lombardi Trophy and Super Bowl MVP Sunday night, but he did lose something.
After the 34-28 overtime win, Brady was seen searching through his locker area for the jersey he wore during the game.
“It was right here. I know exactly where I put it,” Brady said, according to USA Today’s Martin Rogue, as he called for team to help his search.
“This is not good,” said Brady. “It was right here and now I don’t have it. Not good.”
“It is going to be on eBay soon, I guess.”
As of Monday the jersey was still missing.
“Those are pretty special ones to keep, but what can you do?” Brady said Monday. “I’ll take the ring and that’s good enough for me.”
Being the only quarterback in NFL history to win five championships and 4 Super Bowl MVP’s, if Tom Brady’s game jersey was in fact stolen, then it is safe to say that someone will be making a pretty penny off of it. The jersey is likely worth thousands of dollars.
