Florida Gators quarterback, Will Grier, was suspended for at least the remainder of the 2015 season after he tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs. A positive test is a violation of the NCAA’s substance abuse policy and carries an automatic one calendar year suspension. Grier would be eligible to return for the seventh game of the 2016 season.
Head coach Jim McElwain said Grier took an over the counter supplement that had not been approved by Florida trainers. The school plans to appeal the suspension.
