About Last Night

It was all baseball last night, and it was for sure exciting. There was a game five matchup in the ALDS and a game five matchup in the NLDS. Wanna know how they turned out? Let’s take a look…

Cardinals 9, Nationals 7

What a game this was. You have to feel bad for the Nationals – they went into the ninth inning up 7-5 but couldn’t get it done. The Cardinals were actually down to their final strike of the game TWICE, but the both times that happened, batters walked and that’s what triggered the Nats to collapse. St. Louis scored four runs that inning and won a half inning later.

Orioles 1, Yankees 3

C.C. Sabathia pitched a complete game en route to a Yankees victory, which sends them to the ALDS to play the Tigers. Orioles went 1-2-3 in the ninth, and that sealed the deal. Notice in the video below how the Yanks seem to be a bit used to the victory.

Baseball is truly awesome, you guys.
