Adrian Beltre has been on a tear lately. On Wednesday night against the Orioles, he hit three home runs. On Thursday night against the Orioles, he homered again. Then last night against the Twins, Beltre homered yet again, but he also managed to single, double, and triple to complete a cycle.
It’s the fourth cycle of the season, but it’s the first by an American League player. It’s also Beltre’s second career cycle. His first was back on September 1, 2008 when he was playing for the Mariners. Who did he hit his cycle against? No one other than the Texas Rangers.
