Kansas City Royals Pack The Streets For World Series Parade

World-Series-Parade

It has been 30 since the Kansas City Royals won their first championship and today the Royals will parade throughout the streets of Kansas in front of thousands of fans to celebrate their 2015 World Series championship win. The Kansas City Royals won the World Series Sunday with a 7-2 win over the New York Mets.

Highways leading to the city are packed as more than 500,000 fans jam the streets to celebrate. Fans lined the spots along the 2.3 mile parade route hours before it even started. Music and food trucks were on hand to entertain fans as they waited for the World Series parade to start.

Here are some of the best photos from the event.
