Kobe Becomes Third Player To Score 33k Points

Kobe Bryant has been embarking on his farewell tour for some time now and the first ballot hall of famer’s incredible career is winding down but the Mamba still has a little juice left on certain nights and is still reaching lofty milestones.

Kobe played well in a 118-115 loss to the Kings in Sacramento last night, scoring 28 points on 10 for 18 shooting including 18 points in the first half.

His last bucket in the first half on a back down, turnaround jumper while taking youngblood Ben McLemore was historical as Kobe became only the third player in NBA history to reach the 33,000 point plateau for a career.

Kobe joins Kareem Abdul Jabbar (38,387 points) and Karl Malone (36,928 points) as the only current members of the club.

This is just another accomplishment and one of the last in the legendary career of Kobe Bryant.

Hey if he hoists 35 shots a game he may be able to get to 34,000 before hanging them up after the season, I wouldn’t put it past him.
