Michael Jordan Turns 53 Today

Michael Jordan

February 17 is a very big day on the basketball fan’s calendar, it is Michael Jordan’s birthday.

The G.O.A.T. for all intents and purposes hasn’t played in an NBA game in 13 years, but is still the most marketable, profitable and popular basketball player in the world.

The amazing (and highly unnecessary) reverse layup in his first NBA Finals against the Lakers, scoring 63 points in the Garden, shrugging after nailing another three in the 1992 NBA Finals, clutching the Larry O’Brien Trophy in tears after his father passed away in 1993 and his step back jumper to seal his 6th title and that wagging tongue will be ingrained in the minds of basketball fans forever.
