Alabama upset ends Title hopes

The Aggies of Texas A&M were not expected to upset the top ranked Crimson Tide of Alabama, but unfortunately for Bama they didn’t get the memo.  Johnny Football, whose real name is Johnny Manziel, put on quite a show as he shredded the vaunted Alabama defense and jumped out to an early 20-0 lead.  Strong defensive stands late in the game kept Bama from reaching the end zone.  A fumble and late interception sealed the deal in the 29-24 victory.

Now the question will come down to who will be the new #1 team in the new BCS standing?  Oregon. Kansas State, and Notre Dame will all battle it out over the final few weeks to see who will get a shot at the title.  The only hope for Bama is if two of those three teams stumble down the stretch.  The best odds for that to happen would be when Kansas State plays Texas, Oregon play Oregon or USC, and when Notre Dame plays USC. Bama would still need to survive its remaining game and the SEC championship battle.
