Andrew Luck missed the first game of his career last week in a divisional game vs. Jacksonville and he’s in danger of missing another. The Colts play Thursday night vs. the Texans and Luck’s injured throwing shoulder isn’t quite where it needs to be. If the Colts were playing on Sunday, then maybe he would give it a go, but the short week isn’t doing him any favors.
The Indianapolis Colts remain uncertain which quarterback will start against the Houston Texans on Thursday night, but it would not be a surprise if it were Matt Hasselbeck, team and league sources told ESPN.
Colts coach Chuck Pagano said his team will “do the right thing,” and that could mean resting Andrew Luck and his injured shoulder.
