NFL training camp and preseason can be a scary time as there’s always a fear of injury. It happens every year and it looks like the Texans’s Arian Foster is the first big name to go down.
Foster injured his groin in practice and may be out a while. In fact, he may even require surgery. The silver lining is that it’s early August, but there’s no good time for a groin injury.
Texans running back Arian Foster could need surgery for a groin injury he suffered during the team’s first fully padded training camp practice, a source said.
There is concern the injury will force Foster to miss the start of the regular season, according to a source.
Foster suffered the injury on a pass play Monday night and did not return to the field.
