Two-time Super Bowl champion Brandon Browner has been arrested again. The former Seattle Seahawks was taken into custody Sunday following a police chase. He was wanted for kidnapping, false imprisonment, burglary, grand theft auto, and violation of restraining order.
According to police, Browner broke into a house of an ex-girlfriend and threatened to kill her. Not only did he have a previous relationship with the woman but he had also previously been arrested on domestic violence charges against her, requiring a a restraining order from the victim. While there, he also stole a Rolex valued at $20,000.
Brandon Browner, a cornerback out of Oregon State, went undrafted in 2005 but made the most of a pretty star-studded career considering; winning two Super Bowls, a Pro Bowl invite and multiple high achievements in the Canadian Football League as well.
Unfortunately, the end of his career has been less than stellar due to multiple arrests and criminal accusations.
The La Verne police department has yet to release a count of official charges against Browner.
