Brett Favre and Terrell Owens are just one step away from Canton, Ohio and the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The two made the list of 15 finalist for this year’s class. The names will be announced the day before Super Bowl 50.
For Favre, it seems obvious, as he held just about every major passing record at the time of his retirement. Some he still has, while Peyton Manning, Drew Brees and Tom Brady have claimed others.
In the case of Owens, he’s a pretty obvious choice as well, even though he doesn’t jump off the page at you. But he should. He’s one of the most decorated wide receivers ever, but his in-your-face personality has left a lasting impression it seems.
