Johnny Manziel ultimately got was he was asking for in Cleveland. The team released him after a series of circumstances that forced their hand. Many argue that Manziel didn’t feel wanted there and forced his way out. We’ll never know for sure, but he has made it tough for any other team in the league to want to give him a shot because the sense is that he doesn’t care much about football.
But despite all that, the Denver Broncos are reportedly interested. Talks with San Francisco over Colin Kaepernick’s services have somewhat stalled, opening up the potential for Manziel.
Right now, the team doesn’t have a quarterback, making this move appear to be a sign of desperation. But what incentive does Denver have that Johnny Manziel will go there and act as expected?
