This season has been a bounceback season for Chris Johnson. It wasn’t that long ago where he was a 2,000 yard back for Tennesee and he seemed to recapture some of that magic for the Cardinals. But all seems to be coming to an end, as Johnson has a broken tibia and will be out indefinitely.
Arizona Cardinals running back Chris Johnson has a fractured tibia and will miss “extended time,” reports FOX Sports’s Jay Glazer.
The Cardinals are still unsure of how much time Johnson is expected to miss, according to the report.
After all, Johnson only emerged this year because he filled in for an injured Andre Ellington and never gave the job back once Ellington returned. Ironically, Ellington was also injured in Sunday’s win over Arizona.
