DeSean Jackson injured his hamstring in Washington’s week 1 game and hasn’t seen the field since. But he’s close to returning to the 2-3 ‘Skins. His game is built on explosion, as he’s one of the fastest guys in the league, so having him back less than 100% won’t do anyone any good. He has resumed practicing with his teammates.
Jackson, who led the league last year with an average of over 20 yards percatch, has now missed four games and he is getting back into the swing of things. He practiced on a limited basis last week but he was very limited, only taking part in some of individual drills.
He was limited in practice today but he appeared to be more active during the portion that media was permitted to observe.
