DeSean Jackson isn’t the most physically imposing guy, so when you play a game like football, injuries are bound to happen. But not this way. Jackson hurt his shoulder at Redskins practice by hitting a blocking sled. He suffered a separated shoulder and is expected to miss a few weeks.
Washington Redskins receiver DeSean Jackson will miss one to two weeks after spraining his right shoulder on Thursday, coach Jay Gruden said.
Sources said Jackson specifically suffered a Grade 2 separation. A shoulder sprain is a tear of the ligaments in the joint.
