Despite heavy interest from the Cowboys and Patriots, DeSean Jackson will sign with Tampa Bay. That makes for a very interesting passing attack for the Buccaneers. Last year, Jameis Winston and Mike Evans really found their groove through the air, as Evans was among the league league leaders in yards and TDs. Throw Jackson in there and things get interesting.
The Buccaneers were sniffing the playoffs a year ago and now should be one of the up and comers in the NFL moving forward.
Jackson, who turned 30 in December, finished strong in 2016, with four 100-yard performances in his last six games. In that time, he averaged 24.45 yards on 22 receptions with 2 touchdowns. He finished the season with 56 receptions for 1,005 yards — the fifth time he has surpassed 1,000 yards in a season.
