The 5-1 Cowboys are entering their bye week, but you didn’t think that would mean there would be nothing to talk about surrounding the team, did you? Of course not. They are the Cowboys, after all.
Following their bye, the first place squad should have their services of their #1 wide receiver, Dez Bryant again. Bryant skipped the last 3 games with a knee injury. The team practiced today and Dez was out on the field. He was donning a noticeable bandage over the middle finger on his right hand. Apparently he was preparing soup and cut his finger chopping carrots.
Dez Bryant had tape on his right fingers in practice because he cut his hand cutting carrots while making soup. Said it's extremely minor.

Bryant said he cut the middle and ring fingers on his right hand but called the injury “extremely, extremely minor.”
“He’s got a cut on the inside of his hand, so he wasn’t able to catch balls today,” coach Jason Garrett said. “He did a good job moving around, though. I think he’s feeling better and better and better.”
So will the team need to hire him a chef?
“Yeah,” Garrett said with a smile, “we’ve got to address that somehow.”
