Former Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle was arrested early morning. It was his fourth arrest in the last 17 months.
According to Dallas Morning News, Randle showed up at his ex-girlfriend’s house a little before 3 a.m. hoping to sleep there before driving back to Kansas. Instead he was turned away and the residents called the police. Once there the police ran a warrant check and discovered that Randle was wanted on a speeding charges. He was then taken to the Irving Jail and his bail was set at $359.
A 2013 fifth-round pick, Joseph Randle has had many legal issues throughout his NFL career. He was arrested in October 2014 on shoplifting charges after allegedly trying to take underwear and cologne from a mall. Those charges were dismissed as part of a plea deal.
Four months later, he was once again investigated this time for alleged domestic abuse. An ex-girlfriend claimed he had threatened her and her child. She said he pointed a gun at her friend before smashing a car window. There was not enough evidence to charge him with a crime, but the NFL’s personal conduct policy suspended Randle for four games.
The Cowboys released him in 2015 amid concerns about his conduct, but not long after, Joseph Randle was once again in trouble. He allegedly also caused a disturbance in a Kansas Casino after being asked to leave. He was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct, one for his actions inside and outside of the casino.
No court date has yet been set for these latest charges.
