The Kansas City Chiefs were dealt a major blow yesterday when they lost star RB Jamaal Charles to a knee injury in a home game vs Chicago. Charles suffered what is believed to be torn ACL in his right knee and will be done for the remainder of the season. Charles also blew out his other knee several years ago, so we’ll have to see how he rebounds from this one.
The sight of Jamaal Charles being taken off the Arrowhead Stadium field with a likely torn ACL in his right knee was made worse by what happened after he left Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears.
The Chiefs led the Bears 17-3 with Charles in their lineup. They collapsed without him, losing 18-17 after the Bears scored two touchdowns in the final 3 minutes, 5 seconds.
