A stunning trade took place earlier today in the NFL, Pro Bowl linebacker Jamie Collins has been sent to Cleveland in exchange for a third-round pick.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter was the first to report the news:

Last March, the Patriots traded defensive end Chandler Jones to the Arizona Cardinals for a second-round draft pick and guard Jonathan Cooper, who has since been released.
Collins has quickly emerged as one of the most versatile linebackers in football. He is expected to be one of the most coveted free agents on the market when his contract expires at the end of the season which likely played a role in New England’s decision to deal him ahead of Tuesday’s deadline.
