Marshawn Lynch has taken the first step in potentially ending his retirement and returning to the football field.
Lynch met with the Raiders earlier this month to discuss playing for his hometown team, but first he would have to be released or traded by Seattle who still hold his rights. He has also shown interest in playing for the Patriots.
Should Lynch be reinstated, the Seahawks would have no choice but to release him as they hardly have any flexibility under the salary cap.
Prior to his retirement, Marshawn Lynch was a dominant NFL figure.
