NFL Power Rankings Week 10

The Texans claim the top spot as the Falcons lose their first game.

Houston Texans

Houston Texans (8-1)

Defense stepped up and is playing well without Cushing.  Foster is a beast. If they can avoid the injury bug they will be playing in the Super Bowl.

Atlanta Falcons (8-1)

Can’t win them all and came back late against the Saints.  They have been living on the edge all season and it finally caught up to them.

Chicago Bears

Chicago Bears (7-2)

Losing at home to the Texans isn’t a bad thing, but Cutler taking shots to the head is.

Baltimore Ravens

Baltimore Ravens (7-2)

Joe Flacco had a monster game against an outmatched Oakland team.  Now can he repeat that performance?

Green Bay Packers (6-3)

They are putting up points in bunches. Looking for much like the team from last year.  Playoffs look like a sure thing and the North is open for them with Cutler being dinged up.

San Francisco 49ers

San Francisco 49ers (6-2-1)

A tie?  Really?

New England Patriots (6-3)

They can still score with the best of them, but the defense is just horrible once again.

Denver Broncos

Denver Broncos (6-3)

Manning is raising the level of talent on this team.  The are pretty much a lock to win the West with San Diego faltering.

Seattle Seahawks

Seattle Seahawks (6-4)

They play great at home.  Can they do it on the road since they will have to do that in the playoffs.

Pittsburgh Steelers

Pittsburgh Steelers (6-3)

The got lucky against the Chiefs and lost their QB for awhile it seems.  Two games in the next 3 against the Ravens will cost them a shot at the North.  If Ben is out longer than that the playoffs aren’t assured.

New Orleans Saints

New Orleans Saints (4-5)

Huge win against Atlanta leaves them 2 out of the playoffs.  Will be tough in a competitive NFC.

Indianapolis Colts

Indianapolis Colts (6-3)

They keep winning but they need to win on the road and their schedule gets serious with only one bad team left to play.

New York Giants (6-4)

Eli Manning is playing like a rookie and the Giants once again are failing to win in November.

Minnesota Vikings

Minnesota Vikings (6-4)

Adrian Peterson is playing great ball, but Ponder isn’t. Schedule makers hate them – Packers and Bears twice each with a trip to Houston thrown in for fun.

Cincinnati Bengals

Cincinnati Bengals (4-5)

Beat the hell out of the Giants and have some winnable games coming up.  9-7 is possible.

Tampa Bay Bucs (5-4)

Nice three game winning streak, a legit running back, and they are scoring points. Carolina followed by a monster schedule ends their season.

Tennessee Titans

San Diego Chargers (4-4)

Rivers throws for 3TDs, but a pick 6, and bad special teams dooms them again.

Dallas Cowboys (4-5)

Pulled one out against the Eagles and the Giants keep them relevant. They have talent now can they string some wins together.

Arizona Cardinals

Arizona Cardinals (4-5)

Remember when they were 4-0?  Yeah neither do I.

Arizona Cardinals

Miami Dolphins (4-5)

Big win followed by hug loss.  A win against Buffalo puts them in a good spot for a playoff run.

Tennessee Titans

Tennessee Titans (4-6)

Chris Johnson is putting up some numbers and at 4-6 they, along with all of the AFC is still relevant. With the Texans and Green Bay left 8-8 isn’t going to be good enough.

New York Jets

New York Jets (3-6)

The team has come out against Tebow…the media is loving every second of this soap opera.  Oh yeah the offesnse is a joke.  Easy second half schedule keeps them relevant for 3 more weeks until they get to 8 loses.

St. Louis Rams

St. Louis Rams (3-5-1)

Have a chance to have a season defining win you you get a tie?  Feels like a loss for a team that had a shot to be relevant this season.

Washington Redskins

Washington Redskins (3-6)

RGIII is young..he is exciting, but no miracles here.  Need more talent on offense.

Detroit Lions

Detroit Lions (4-5)

Green Bay this week…this is their season.  Over before they get to play on Thanksgiving …just like old times.

Philadelphia Eagles (3-6)

Vick is hurt…doesn’t matter. Foles era to get a shot in Philadelphia.

Buffalo Bills (3-6)

They gave New England a scare, but the defense is still garbage and Fitzpatrick still throws the bad pass at the wrong time.

Oakland Raiders (3-6)

Carson Palmer deal is just looking like a big waste of draft picks.  Where is the defense?

Cleveland Browns

Cleveland Browns (2-7)

Playing hard and should be fun to watch in the second half.  Won’t win many, but they will play tough.

Carolina Panthers (2-7)

What a disaster.  All around this team is the biggest disappointment of the season.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville Jaguars (1-8)

You lose 6 in a row there isn’t much to be excited about.

Kansas City Chiefs

Kansas City Chiefs (1-8)

Cassel looks awful. Bad penalties cost this team a game, but they did cause Pittsburgh massive issues going forward.
