Peyton Manning had a solid comeback season – better than most thought possible, but in the end not much has changed. Manning did enough to earn a win today, but some spotty defense and an ill timed interception doomed Manning to a new place in the NFL record books he probably want to part of – his record tying 11th playoff loss. Today’s double overtime loss to the Ravens brings his playoff record to 9-11 which ties Brett Farve for losses. Farve however does have a winning record overall of 13-11. Also on the double digit playoff loss list is the great Dan Marino whose time in Miami saw a lot of yards and a lot of touchdowns, but an 8-10 playoff mark. He also has not won a playoff game when the starting temperature is below 40 degrees – now 0-4 lifetime.
