Tom Brady is not going anywhere, at least that’s what he says.
The New England Patriots quarterback has previously spoken about playing until at least the age of 45, and now, at Super Bowl Opening Night he informed his former teammate Willie McGinest that he did not see an end in sight.
Brady is meticulous with his fitness and diet. He believes that as long as he keeps at it, he’ll be able to keep performing.
“I think as long as I’m willing to make the commitment to taking care of myself,” Brady said. “I’ve got a good routine, it’s gotten better as the years have gone one.”
Tom Brady will be 40 prior to the 2017 season but he isn’t slowing down. He has thrown for 3,554 yards with 28 touchdowns and two picks in 12 games. Brady will be the 20th quarterback in NFL history to play after his 40th birthday.
