The Arizona Cardinals had Super Bowl aspirations this season, but have come out of the gate somewhat flat this season. There’s still plenty of football yet to be played, but their 3-4-1 record surely isn’t what many anticipated through 8 games.
For this critical upcoming stretch of the season, they will need to get by without Tyrann Mathieu roaming freely in the secondary. Mathieu will be out for the next 3-6 weeks, dealing with a shoulder injury. In his brief career, Mathieu has shown some brilliance, but he has also had to deal with a bunch of injuries.
The hurting Arizona Cardinals secondary took another loss.
The team announced Tyrann Mathieu would miss three to six weeks with a shoulder injury.
Mathieu suffered a shoulder subluxation mid-game against the Panthers on Sunday, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.
