Vernon Davis looked at home during his first season with the Redskins and now the veteran tight end is staying. Davis took to Snapchat Tuesday night to post a picture of himself signing a new three-year deal with the Washington Redskins.

This is what he had to say last week about staying with the team.
“I would love to stay here because it’s such a great organization,” Davis told CSN’s JP Finlay. “The locker room’s amazing. I’m extremely happy here, and it would only make sense to stay here.”
Back in March 2016 Davis had signed a one-year prove it deal. He has been consistent throughout the season and played in all 16 games including starting for a few. He had 44 catches for 583 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Financial terms have not yet been disclosed.
