The Vancouver Canucks may have suffered their biggest loss yet, their captain, Henrik Sedin.
The team announced via twitter that Henrik Sedin suffered a lower body injury during the second period against the Philadelphia Flyers and would not return to the game.
There is no word yet on the severity of the injury but losing Sedin long-term would be disastrous for the Vancouver Canucks. The team has been suffering lately without Brandon Sutter and relying on young centres Bo Horvat and Jared McCann.
With Henrik Sedin absent, hard to say who the Canucks' No. 1 centre is. Guess McCann, since 19 yo just took draw on 1st PP unit.

If Sedin is out long-term it will affect the team’s decision to loan McCann to Team Canada for the upcoming World Junior Championship that begins December 26th.
