The odds of this happening in a hockey game have got to be much worse than one in a million. Last night in the Dallas Stars’ loss to the Calgary Flames, a blooper happened that may never be repeated. When the Flames attempted to dump the puck in the Stars zone it took a funny bounce and landed perfectly wedged between the eye and visor of Stars player Patrik Nemeth.
Getting a puck in the face is not so uncommon in the NHL, but getting one up in your visor without a scratch on you is damn near impossible. Until last night. Maybe Nemeth should consider a full cage?
