The Cleveland Indians have moved within four wins of matching the 1916 New York Giants for the longest streak in major league history.
Just when it looked like it was all over, the Cleveland Indians prevailed.
The Indians extended their historic winning streak to 22 games Thursday night after defeating the Kansas City Royals 3-2 in a come-from-behind victory during extra innings.
With the Royals on top 2-1 in the ninth inning, Cleveland was down to its final strike when Francisco Lindor doubled to tie the game at two. Jay Bruce hit a line drive in the 10th inning to bring home Jose Ramirez for the game-winning run.
A #walkoff for the win streak?
