The Montreal Canadiens have set an NHL record for the fastest two goals scored by one team.
Montreal netted a pair of goals in two seconds in the third period of its 6-4 win over the Washington Capitals at the Bell Centre. It was the fastest two goals ever scored by one team.

Max Domi notched the goal off the rush with 22 seconds left in the game breaking the 4-4 tie and a second later Joel Armia added an empty-netter to seal Montreal’s win and put the Habs in the record books.

The victory moved the Canadiens to 7-3-2 on the season, good for third place in the Atlantic Division.
