Yankees infielder Chase Headley was hit by a pitch in the absolute worst place possible on Tuesday night.
During the fifth inning against the Minnesota Twins the New York Yankees’ designated hitter was hit by a 87.9-mph pitch to the groin from reliever Dillon Gee.

To his credit, Headley remained in the game despite the painful incident, which is probably more than many of us could do. He even scored a run later in the inning.
The Yankees would go on to win the game 5-2, widening their lead over the Twins to six games for the first AL wild-card position.
